These are actual questions posed to me in the past.
The anti-Christ is, in essence, a being who has come to Earth to tear as many people away from God as he can. He is the son of Lucifer, he IS NOT the devil. He is the SON of the Devil, just like Jesus was the Son of God.
Satan, the Devil, Lucifer. All the same with many different names. Lucifer was God’s worship leader and became so impressed with his own beauty, intelligence, and position that he refused to acknowledge humankind when God created us. Because of this, he was cast down from heaven. Since that day, he has vowed revenge upon humankind, and is attempting to “become” god. Christians, of course, know that this is not possible.
In history there have been MANY false prophets, but the final one will be here to worship the anti-Christ and, just like the anti-Christ, will have an agenda to pull as many people as possible AWAY from God.
YES! Just as there is God, Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus the Christ), and the Holy Spirit; there will be 3 beings of Evil. Satan, the anti-Christ, and the False Prophet. We, of course, do not know the names of the anti-Christ and the False Prophet.
Right now… Hell is empty. There is nobody in Hell today, but that WILL change. Nobody is there because Hell is the final place for those who have rejected Christ and is the place to which they are assigned after the Great White Throne Judgment. Right now… Anyone who has passed, and has not been saved by Jesus, is residing in a place called Sheol. After the day of final judgment, then Hell receives its population.
You might have heard of Sheol. Or Hades. Some people believe, falsely that Hades and Hell are the same… they are not. This is a REAL place. Unlike this world, Sheol is devoid of love, hate, envy, work, thought, knowledge, and wisdom. Basically, Sheol is the holding place (or jail) for everyone that has died, who DID NOT have the forgiveness that Jesus brought. After Judgment, Sheol will be emptied, and it’s “residents” will be either sent to Hell...or be accepted into Heaven.
Heaven is the reward for God’s faithful people. Jews, Gentiles, and everybody else who have accepted Jesus’ gift, and prayed the sinner’s prayer are here. In Heaven, all of us who died will live again here. There are no tears or pain, everyone will be at perfect peace, and we will live forever with Him. People have asked, “What about those that I have left behind?” Well… In a nutshell, if they are believers, then you WILL see them again. If they are not, then all memory of them will be erased from your mind.
Sin is the breaking of God's Law. It's in the Bible, 1 John 3:4, KJV. "Whosoever commits sin transgressed also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."
There are some differing schools of thought on this one, but I am going to provide you the 2 most popular:
Mystery Babylon is also known as the city of Seven (7) hills. Guess how many hilltops there are in Washington DC?
Revelation 17:9, KJV: And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits.
Seven Hills of Rome, group of hills on or about which the ancient city of Rome was built. The original city of Romulus was built upon Palatine Hill (Latin: Mons Palatinus). The other hills are the Capitoline, Quirinal, Viminal, Esquiline, Caelian, and Aventine (known respectively in Latin as the Mons Capitolinus, Mons Quirinalis, Mons Viminalis, Mons Esquilinus, Mons Caelius, and Mons Aventinus). This is believed to be the actually Mystery Babylon: The Vatican.
It is MY belief that YES, a Christian CAN lose their salvation, but it is something you probably don’t want to hear. A Christian is a new creation. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:17, NKJV). A Christian is not simply an “improved” version of a person; a Christian is an entirely new creature. He is “in Christ.” For a Christian to lose salvation, the new creation would have to be destroyed. Because of Free Will, God has provided us the ability to make our own decisions. If you were to decide to take your own life, you have, in essence, denied God’s authority. Your salvation would be forfeit at this point. I will tell you that I am not 100% sure on this, but I think I am pretty close.
This is a sensitive subject, and I will try to be sensitive, but also practical here as well. If you were to accept Jesus into your heart, and then commit suicide, did you really accept Jesus? I honestly cannot answer that question, but I will say this, Jesus has begun work in your life to make it better, why would you not give him a chance? The suicide of a believer is evidence that anyone can struggle with despair and that our enemy, Satan, is “a murderer from the beginning” (John 8:44). Suicide is still a serious sin against God. According to the Bible, suicide is murder; it is always wrong. Christians are called to live their lives for God, and the decision of when to die is God’s and God’s alone.
Unfortunately, no. Once you take the “mark”, you have pledged your allegiance to the devil and all chances you had for redemption is forfeit. It is better to suffer and die under God’s grace, than it would be to live as a slave of Satan. Actually… those who take the mark will become forever tainted by the influence of the devil. They won’t even know they are bound for Hell. They will believe that they are doing the right thing.
Good question. My answer is… nobody knows for sure what that mark is at this time, but it will become apparent when it is eventually brought upon the world stage. Think of it in this way… Satan wants to grab as many people as he can before he is thrown into the pits of hell. As I stated in the previous question, this will show that Satan “has” you. Does this mean that everyone who does not take the mark is going to Heaven? No. If you do not take the mark, but you haven’t accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then you are still bound for Hell. The opposite is also true in this case. This is the reason why Satan will destroy ANYONE who does not take his mark. If he can destroy them before forgiveness is granted, then he still wins.
Salvation is by FAITH alone. This however does not mean that you shouldn’t work. “Work” is anything that brings glory to God. You lead someone to Christ? That is “work”. You feed the homeless”? That is “work”. You help your fellow man? That is “work”. Those “works” will not save you, but it does bring glory to God. When you are saved, you are commanded to go forth (into the world) and spread the word of God to all who is willing to hear it.
All people are accountable to God whether or not they have “heard about Him.” The Bible tells us that God has clearly revealed Himself in nature (Romans 1:20) and in the hearts of people (Ecclesiastes 3:11). The problem is that the human race is sinful; we all reject this knowledge of God and rebel against Him (Romans 1:21-23). If it were not for God’s grace, we would be given over to the sinful desires of our hearts, allowing us to discover how useless and miserable life is apart from Him. He does this for those who continually reject Him (Romans 1:24-32).
In a nutshell, No. Baptism is a symbol of the washing of sins from your life. It is NOT a requirement.
Unfortunately, there are people in power who claim to do things in the name of Jesus, but in actuality, they are doing things for themselves. Don’t fault God for what mankind has chosen to do. Again, please understand that God gave man FREE WILL. We can do whatever we want to do, but eventually we have to pay the price.
When the judgment begins the books will be used:
1. The Book of law. – This is the historical law in which in Old Testament is based. Those who have died before Jesus’ death will be subject to this law. You will NOT be in this book.
2. The Book of Death. – This book has the name of EVERY sinner who HAS NOT accepted Jesus into their life. Also known as the book of damnation, you DO NOT want your name to be in this book.
3. The Book of Life. – If you accepted Jesus into your life and asked for his forgiveness, then your name will be inscribed into this book. You WANT to be in this book.
